Bosco von Bosel is a gorgeous, 2-year-old German Shepherd with a beautiful multi-hued coat.  A bigger boy who is playful, upbeat and ready for anything, Bosco is housebroken and crate-trained and has excellent house and yard manners. He enjoys affection, likes to be with his people but isn't overly needy, and will lean  into you for his pets, resting his head on your lap. Bosco responds to various commands, including sit, down, up, come and drop it (when playing fetch - and he loves to play fetch!). His tail is ready and wagging when it's time for a walk or hike. While at the rescue, Bosco did well in playgroups, and he is doing great with 3 other shepherds of varying ages and temperaments in his foster home. He enjoys playing with other dogs, but also senses when to give a dog space. Nearly perfect, right?  Well, he's not for small dogs or cats. And he still has some puppy mouthiness, and at times can alert to another dog he sees. His forever home should not include young children at this time, but it should include room to run and an owner who will enjoy exercising Bosco and stimulating his intelligence through games, scent work, etc. Another playful pup would be ideal.
